Lets Book

B & B and small hotel operators are now being given access to an innovative and low cost way of obtaining real time and commission free, online bookings. The recently developed "Lets Book" system has been developed by a Perth hotelier and brings together marketing, programming and hospitality expertise in a simple but efficient package. Initially targeted at the golf market then developed for a broader platform, Lets Book is described by its founders as the "ideal companion" in a highly competitive marketplace.

Behind the initiative are Olav Skretteberg an entrepreneur and business mentor, marketing and web design expert Andy Flack, programmer George Beaton and Perthshire hotelier Scott Edwards.
The uniquely Scottish venture has created a booking engine that can be used in many applications, and because Lets Book is a web based application its users don't have to install anything other than a standard up-to-date web browser.
Set up is easy, and Lets Book can then be customised by individual businesses for easy adjustment of room prices and packages to suit the season, and for a quick response to market changes or promotions.

Lets Book offers a two month free trial, with annual charges starting at only £125 per annum. Hotelier, Scott Edwards said that the system offers minimal start-up effort, worry free installation with ongoing phone and e-mail support, fewer missed bookings, and a quick return on investment.  He said that Lets Book completely cuts out costly commission charges and maintenance fees, and allows business owners direct control of bookings.
"Websites are awake 24/7 so are they are always open for bookings. Every penny comes into the business, apart from standard merchant account and card processing fees.
"It really is a straightforward and winning combination, and new business users can be up and running within 24 hours. "Potential visitors can then just click, book and stay" he said.
