MAKE THE MOST OF SCOTLAND'S LARDER
Make The Most of Scotland's Larder And Improve Your Customers' Experience
Perth Racecourse, Wednesday 10th February 2010
This exciting Food Tourism event is being held at Perth Racecourse on Wednesday 10th February for chefs, owners and managers of hotels and restaurants. Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin, a passionate supporter of Scottish produce, will be joining other food professionals to demonstrate how businesses can serve up mouth-watering dishes using local and seasonal ingredients in their menus.
Tom, who introduces daily seasonal alternatives to his menu, is a great believer in ‘no waste' and will show how skill and creativity can transform the humblest of ingredients into great food.
In addition to Tom's demonstrations, there will be presentations on game, fish and meat, finishing with a Scottish cheeses ‘masterclass' with Christopher Trotter.
A ‘Market Place' will be held at lunchtime where delegates can meet a wide range of food producers and suppliers, all eager to showcase their products and work with tourism businesses.
Places are limited and are on a ‘first come first served' basis.
